AnimeShow 2018

AnimeShow was my first Slovak convention and I gotta say... I really enjoyed it! I had a great time with friends, we've seen some great lectures and I've met some really nice people! Even through everything was against me, I took my Holo cosplays and Emilia with me and I've had some amazing photoshoots. :3 You can check my Holo and Emilia gallery, if you wanna see the result.

Let's start from the beginning - the preparations for the convention. My cosplay schedule was completely different at first. The fact I didn't make something in time is like a cliche for me already, but this time it wasn't the problem. I was working on Shiina at first, because Holo was done a long time ago and for Lux I already had the outfit, only the staff was missing.

So I made the skirt and shirt for her and I was waiting for the shoes, sweater and bag to arrive from China. The sweater, which I ordered in white and wanted to alter it, was in my country already from 15th March. But I recieved it on 4th April or so. Yaay, all hail our postal service. So I couldn't take Shiina to AnimeShow. And yea, I almost forgot, the seller sent me the shoes in wrong colour. Woho :D

Then I was working on my Lux staff and I've ordered a wig from one girl from Slovakia. It should have arrived like 2-3 days before the convention. And as you probably guessed - it didn't. (Fun fact - today is 12th April and I still didn't recieve it, haha) So without a wig I couldn't really take her with me. All hail our postal service once again please.

So the only thing that stayed the same were my Holos. On Friday I also took my Holo and on Sunday Emilia. I didn't really want to take Emilia with me, because I needed a new wig and shoes for her, but I think in the end it wasn't that bad. I took my gold shoes that were meant to be for Lux, not her, so they were completely off, but I think it's still better than if I had sneakers or something. xD

Well, now you're probably thinking that atleast Holo was alright. Nope, you're wrong. When I was packing up my things for the con I've realized that my corset for Holo was ripped apart. Woho. So while I was packing up my things, my amazing boyfriend was repairing my corset. <3 :D :D (It was WELL repaired! :3 :D)

Then we were on the way to Bratislava. The whole way we were listening and singing to Linkin Park's songs, so we definitely weren't bored. :D Also the way was only like 3 hours by car, so it's not like Prague, where it's like 2x more. :D We arrived to our hotel on like 3pm, then we we're unpacking our things, ate something and I dressed up as Holo.

After we arrived on the place where the convention was, there was no queue already, so we just bought tickets and went in, because it was so cold out there. qwq We went to print stands where were Lena and GrumpyCait selling at that time. We had nice chat with Lena and Akiko, took some photos and then I went out with Kira to this freaking cold weather to make some quick photos. :3 I have to say I love them, the only bad thing about the photos was the fact there wasn't much light already, but I really like them even through that :3

On Saturday we woke up and went to hotel bar to have a breakfast. :3 For me it's a necessary to have a breakfast at the hotel, because if we don't, I would just wake up at like 12am and that's not really... good. xD Then I dressed up as Holo again and we went to the con!

I've met so many people here. We again had a nice chat with Lena, Akiko, Miry GrumpyCait and Eliza, we took a few photos and just had a great time together. :3 But I've met also new people like Raikko with her amazing Hawke :3  

Then I had a photoshoot with amazing Butterfly Creative by Susy and Miry Photoworks. :3 I really enjoyed both photoshoots! I hope we didn't have last photoshoot together. <3 I was climbing a tree on the Miry's photoshoot and if you've ever been in cosplay, you probably know it's not that easy, so my BF had to help me... a lot. xD But I think it was worth it in the end.

At the end of the day we went to Raikko's workshop about acting. My BF didn't want to go at first but then he participated way more than I did. :D :D But omg, it was amazing and so hilarious, I'm so glad we went there. Raikko is such a nice person, I hope we'll meet somewhere else too. :3

Emilia time! The Sunday's morning was pretty much the same like the Saturday's, only with one little difference - we had to pack up everything. :D I again had photoshoots with Susy and Miry. Thank you so much again for amazing photos! <3 It was so freaking cold out there, even more than on Friday. qwq I was really surprised I wasn't ill after AnimeShow because I'm ill all the time and it wasn't really good to be in such a cold in top and short skirt only. :D

At the con we again chatted with friends, took some photos and said good bye. I'm pretty sure it wasn't the last convention where we met and I'm looking forward to meet everyone on Animefest.  Thank you everyone for amazing weekend! <3
